LinkVeri is a WordPress plugin that finds and reports broken links on your website, and can help you fix them. The free version is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. A Pro licence adds features described on this website.
The free plugin is free software under the GPL: you may use, study, modify and redistribute it under that licence's terms. A Pro licence grants you use of the premium features on the number of sites your plan covers, for the duration of your subscription, together with updates and support.
Purchases are processed by Freemius, Inc. as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future charges and your licence remains valid until the end of the paid period.
If a trial requires a payment method, we will tell you before you enter it, and the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
If the plugin does not do what this website says it does, write to us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you. We would rather fix the problem, so please tell us what went wrong first — but a refund is not conditional on you letting us try.
The fix features change content on your site: they rewrite link addresses, remove link markup, or delete menu items, as you instruct. Before every such change the plugin saves the original content to its own backup table so the change can be undone from within the plugin.
You remain responsible for maintaining your own backups. Please do not use the fix features on a production site without one.
Checking external links necessarily means sending HTTP requests to those destinations. By using the plugin you accept that these requests originate from your server and are attributable to you. The plugin identifies itself honestly, keeps request rates low, and does not attempt to evade access controls.
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Link checking involves judgement about ambiguous responses from other people's servers; we make a deliberate effort to report uncertainty as uncertainty rather than guess, but we cannot guarantee that every result is correct.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of LinkVeri is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost data.
Do not use the plugin to scan sites you do not own or administer, to circumvent access controls, or at a rate that would burden someone else's server. The plugin is built to behave politely; please do not modify it to behave otherwise.
Free version support is offered through the WordPress.org plugin forum, as time allows. Pro licences include email support at [email protected].
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted here with a new date, and will not apply retroactively to a subscription you have already paid for.
